Fritz comes home

Today, 2/3/2010, Fritz is out of the hospital and has come home at 18:50 this evening! He was weaned from oxygen late last night, and his lungs were at full capacity all night, no problems. A few extra tests and the NICU cleared him to go home this afternoon! "Awake and Alert"

We are SO happy to be home and nesting with our new and beautiful baby!!!! Not to mention to get a good nights rest in our own bed after 4 nights of not-quite-luxury-sleeping in the hospital.

Fritz is a very calm baby, cries very little (only when cold and wanting to be swaddled back up, or to feed with Momma), and is a very healthy and happy baby! He makes continual eye contact, has numerous very funny facial expressions, and has a strong grip and leg / arm movements. The most handsome baby boy and such a joy!
